Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born South London, England into an ethnically diverse family. Her mother is English and her father is Nigerian. She was a student at The Brit School when she was fourteen years old. It was the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she obtained the BA in acting. At school, she was a part-time actor in numerous stage plays, including King Henry V's Princess Katherine or Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe launched her acting career with the movie Storm Damage. The actress has been guest on Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film appearance was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), alongside Colin Farrell. Her success has led her to be cast in Elisha as a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in the six-episode series Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. She was Bambi in The ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe made an appearance in the comedy film How to Lose Friends & Get People to Leave. She also appeared as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written by David Watson.
Madekwe made her US debut on the Drama series The Beautiful Life, which just aired two episodes in the US on The CW before being cancelled. In February of 2011, she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. After appearing on the show for the first two seasons it was reported in late May 2013 that she would quit the show following an appearance as a guest in the pilot episode in the season's third. Madekwe starred as Tituba in the television series Salem between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe, her long-time companion, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. They've collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also played a part with her in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress was raised in a huge family living in Hamilton, Ontario. Four of her older brothers were present as well and included twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's athletic brothers were avid baseball players during the summer months as well as hockey in winter. Ashley could never walk, however she did dance. As she was two and a half, she began Baby Ballet and fell in the love. Ashley fell in love with dance at this age. Ashley participated in the top divisions for jazz, tap ballet, hip hop, Acrobatics, Lyrical Musical Theatre and pointe until she graduated in high school. The top soloist at major competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, were all awarded to Ashley.
